The challenge

Airbnb’s Open Homes program (now Airbnb.org) connects disaster evacuees, medical patients, and refugees with free places to stay.In order to reach our goal of housing 100k people in need, we had to increase awareness about Open Homes without aggrandizing Airbnb, while working with a scrappy budget.

The opportunity

I led creative development and marketing strategy for Open Homes. I developed a full-funnel approach that drove awareness, acquisition, and community engagement, growing the host, guest, and donor community by 40%.
