Cameo

I built a comprehensive social impact program, Cameo Cares, which included a new donations product, nonprofit partnership strategy, marketing campaigns, crisis response, and more. I mapped the strategy to Cameo’s business goals — attracting notable talent like Carrie Underwood and Lil Nas X, driving earned media and traffic, and keeping Cameo’s talent community active and engaged.

This program mobilized thousands of celebrities to raise $1M+ for charity.

Airbnb

I led marketing and community engagement for Airbnb's marquee social impact program, Open Homes. I ushered the program through several phases of growth, starting as a subsection of Airbnb’s policy team and scaling to its own independent team and 501(c)3 entity, Airbnb.org. I also managed the employee impact program for several years, organizing volunteer and giving initiatives.

I was able to grow the Open Homes host, guest, and donor community by 40%, and connect 75k refugees, disaster evacuees, and medical patients with free housing.

Vice

Vice brought me onboard to consult for Gloria Steinem’s show on Viceland, Woman. The show dealt with sensitive subject matter and they wanted to ensure episode content was responsible, featured a nonprofit partner, and gave the audience resources and calls to action.

I secured a nonprofit partner for each episode and launched a resource hub, where audience members took 10k+ actions.
